Local Crafts

Traditional markets like Bao Lac are living museums, brimming with treasures. You can find handwoven textiles adorned with intricate patterns, crafted by skilled hands. Silver jewelry, shimmering with the artistry of H'mong artisans, catches the eye. Woven bamboo objects, sturdy and elegant, stand as testaments to local ingenuity. And the market overflows with the bounty of the mountains, offering a delectable array of agricultural products like wild honey and aromatic mushrooms.

When to Go?

For the best experience, we recommend visiting between September and November. The temperatures are mild, and the golden rice fields offer particularly picturesque landscapes. This is also the harvest season, where you can observe (and perhaps participate in) various traditional village activities.
