Its majestic entrance opens up to a vast chamber adorned with various shapes and vibrant colors. Tham Phay Cave: A hidden treasure

Relatively unknown, Tham Phay Cave, also known as Lo Mo, is worth a visit. Located in Hoang Tri commune, it houses an underground river and impresses with its diverse concretions. Its exploration, slightly more challenging than the other caves, is an adventure reserved for experienced spelunkers, offering an authentic experience for adventurous visitors. Who knows? The legend of Tham Phay (or rather, one of the legends associated with this cave): Once upon a time, a giant named Phay lived in the region. Known for his strength and cruelty, he terrorized the villagers and stole their livestock. One day, a wise hermit arrived in the village and promised to rid the people of the tyrant.
The hermit lured Phay into Tham Phay Cave and trapped him there with a spell. Since that day, the giant has remained imprisoned in the cave, and his spirit still haunts the place.

Na Phoong Cave: A forgotten treasure

Located in the central area of Ba Be National Park, about 500 meters southeast of Bo Lu village, Na Phoong Cave consists of a combination of shallow caves and interconnected underground rivers, spanning approximately 3 kilometers. With its high ceilings, it showcases beautiful rock formations that shelter a variety of bat and reptile species.
You can reach the cave by boat from Bo Lu village or by walking along a trail. Although discovered by local residents in the early 2000s, it remains unexploited, preserving its pristine and wild beauty.
