Hoi An's charm lies in its beautifully preserved ancient town and enchanting scenes of lanterns along the river. Once one of the most influential ports in South East Asia, you can still visit the merchants quarters which showcase some exquisite architectural styles. The sleepy town of Hoi An is also renowned for its white sand beach and fantastic shopping streets.
Hoi An, known as Faifo, with more than 2,000 years history, was once the principal port of the Cham Kingdom. It controlled the strategic spice trade with Indonesia from the 7th to the 10th century and was a major international port in the 16th and 17th centuries. After it's glory days, it became a beautifully preserved, charming town which has become one of the most popular destinations in Vietnam. This two day tour will uncover the history and beauty of this sleepy riverside town.
On this unique heritage tour you will discover 3 world heritage sites of Vietnam; Hue Ancient Capital, Hoi An Ancient town and the My Son holy land with beach breaks on some of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam including Lang Co beach. You will also visit the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone), the 17th parallel, Ben Hai River, Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnel and Quang Tri Citadel, all influential outposts during the war which became part of the DMZ.

It begins in the Hue, the old Imperial City, which served as Vietnam's capital under the emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. It then follows the scenic highway N1 from Hue to Hoi An via Da Nang, one of Vietnam's major international sea ports. This trip finishes in the picturesque town of Hoi An, once one of Southeast Asia's major trading ports between the 17th and 19th centuries.
